Our Virtual Tour:

More Information:

Our specialized team of counsellors work with clients, caregivers, and family members of all ages, through illness, end-of-life, and bereavement. No referral is required.

The Companion Program is a family-centred and community-based approach to improving the quality of life for those impacted by any advanced illness. Volunteers are carefully matched with clients to provide ongoing, regular support to help reduce stress and feelings of isolation in patients, caregivers, and their families and promote an active role in living life to the fullest during illness.

Our free monthly webinar, Dying To Know, is open to anyone interested in various topics related to death and dying. These interactive sessions help in preparing for end-of-life, offer strategies for staying resilient through challenging times, and help care partners become more confident in their roles.

Facilitated by our Child & Family Counsellor, this free session is one of multiple sessions hosted by our Children’s Grief Centre. It will share practical information and resources to address questions people have when explaining advanced illness to kids and teens.

Bereavement Telephone Support Program

The Bereavement Telephone Support Program (BTSP) is for adult clients connected with our Rosedale Hospice and Living with Advanced Illness Centre. It offers monthly telephone bereavement support from our trained volunteers to those who are grieving a death due to illness.

Clients and family members living in Calgary and surrounding areas that are connected with our Living with Advanced Illness Centre or Rosedale Hospice are eligible to receive support through this program. Please contact us for more information.

The medical and spiritual care team at Rosedale Hospice and our counselling staff created this booklet. The book is intended to help those who are at the end-of-life, or those who are supporting a loved one, understand the final stages of life.

Our practical tools and resources support individuals, professionals and community advocates who are grieving or supporting others.

Customized Sessions & Consultations
