Program Assistant, Living with Advanced Illness Centre

0.7 FTE, Contract Position (ends August 21, 2026)

The Living with Advanced Illness Centre is seeking a Program Assistant to join our team to provide much needed support for our growing Companion Program! The program aims to reduce stress and feelings of isolation in patients, caregivers, their loved ones, and promotes living life to the fullest during illness.

The role supports program development, community engagement, and administration. The Program Assistant also develops key relationships with community partners, volunteers, and clients.

Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation required

Part-Time Counsellor, The Children’s Grief Centre

The Children’s Grief Centre is seeking an experienced and skilled counsellor to join our clinical team to provide short and long-term grief and trauma-focused counselling to children, teens, and their families who are grieving a sudden or expected death.

Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students

Thank you for your interest in participating in a practicum opportunity with the Children’s Grief Centre. The next opportunity to join our practicum program will be for the 2026-2027 academic year. Our website will have information on when and how to apply in the first months of 2026.
