NEW Fundraising Specialist, Hospice Calgary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Are you an enthusiastic fundraiser and team player?
The Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for advancing the mission of Hospice Calgary’s programs by fostering strong relationships with donors and volunteers. The Fundraising Specialist will generate donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations by managing a portfolio of donors and prospects.
Minimum 2-5 years’ related experience in fundraising.

Counsellor, Children’s Grief Centre
Permanent, 1.0 FTE with benefits
Are you passionate about client and family centered care? Are you interested in providing short and long term grief and trauma-focused counselling to children, teens and their families who are grieving a sudden or expected death?
The counsellor assesses clients to identify goals and required interventions, knowing that each person has different needs and requires a different approach. They are willing to be flexible to meet the needs of their clients, including meeting with them at the location that makes the most sense for them, whether that’s at the Children’s Grief Centre, home, or school.
Minimum of 3 years counselling experience with children, teens, and families.

Practicums
Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.
Counselling Practicum for Masters Students
